Q1) What are big companies doing in order to be more socially responsible ?- For example, Singtel has an energy programme that reduces the business cost. Singtel also encourages their customers to join their environmental efforts, like signing up with Singtels's own myBill. DBS is also focusing on helping children to reach their full potential in learning.Q2) How important it is to be socially responsible? And do you think it is still possible to make a social impact during the recession?- It is important because it helps the people in the country to spare a thought for the others and being responsible for their actions.The charity walkathon that was being conducted did not spend a big amount of money to organise as it was raised till $80 000 of social impacts towards the deaf.
